Notion is fully managed and combines wiki, docs, and relational databases with a vast template and integration ecosystem and built-in AI. There is no infrastructure to run and far more you can build than in Outline. Onboarding is quick and templates cover most needs.

Notion is closed-source and cloud-only — you cannot self-host or fully own the data as you can with Outline.
